Item Details
This new build MEV EXOCET has been IVA tested and has had its registration number allocated - its totally road legal and ready to go. (passed in March 2021 at Yeading) The donor was a 2004 Mazda MX5 with 60k on the engine. The whole car was stripped down and the kit built on and around the newly refurbished running gear and polished 1.8 litre engine. I spent ages getting the suspension right, after a couple of sets found the Bilstein B6's, the bushes are all orange polyurethane now too. The ride is already exciting enough* but it has lots of space left for a future turbo/supercharger install. The brakes are vented and drilled and the stainless steel exhaust is from MEV - it sounds fantastic both idling and driving. The engine itself was already nicely looked after but I have replaced the alternator, MAS sensor, fully serviced, new sports radiator. Quick sale 8000 no offers |
